1. Summary
The odoma.ee website uses only essential local storage to remember your language preference. We do not use:
- Tracking cookies
- Advertising cookies
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.)
- Third-party social media cookies
- Cross-site behavioural profiling
2. What we use and why
Local storage (technically not a cookie, but functionally similar)

That is the only client-side storage Odoma's website sets on your device.
What we do NOT set
- No session cookies for tracking your navigation
- No persistent cookies for re-identifying you between visits
- No third-party cookies of any kind
3. Third-party services on the website
The site uses the following third-party services. Each may set its own cookies according to its own policy when you interact with it:
- App Store and Google Play badges and links — when you click "Download on the App Store" or "Get it on Google Play", you leave odoma.ee and Apple's or Google's own privacy policy applies.
- Stripe (donation flow only) — when you proceed through the donation page, Stripe sets cookies necessary for payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Firebase Hosting — serves the static files of the site. Firebase does not set tracking cookies for static-only sites.
If you do not interact with the donation flow, Stripe cookies are not set on your device.
4. The mobile app
The Odoma Tracker apps for iOS and Android do not use HTTP cookies in the traditional sense. Local data on your device is governed by our Privacy Policy.
5. How to clear or block
Local storage is managed by your browser. You can clear it via:
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → odoma.ee → Remove
- Chrome / Firefox / Edge: Site settings → Cookies and site data → odoma.ee → Clear
You may also browse odoma.ee in a private/incognito window — local storage is then automatically cleared when the window closes.
Blocking local storage entirely will mean the language switcher does not remember your choice between visits, but the site will otherwise function normally.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new services that set cookies. Material changes are listed on this page with a new effective date.
